The Covid-19 pandemic that started in early February this year forced Tremco CPG warehouses and manufacturing plants in Malaysia to temporarily shut down operations. With many ASEAN countries also implementing nationwide lockdowns to curb the spread of the virus, the company’s numerous offices across Asia Pacific had to be closed and staff were requested to work remotely.
In recent weeks, governments in Asia have begun allowing business operations to resume. As of 31 May 2020, all of Tremco CPG APAC’s manufacturing plants and warehouse facilities are fully operational and actively supplying the products to customers.
Currently, countries like Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Hong Kong, South Korea, and Vietnam are operating as per normal. Although Singapore and Philippines are gradually easing their restrictions, Tremco CPG staff in both countries will continue to work under enhanced safety regulations. However, customers are advised to expect some delays with their shipments due to tightened regulations imposed by the different countries.
